for 1875, with nickel-plated tapering 2 1/4in. barrel (muzzle re-dressed), the top signed on two lines by the maker, crescent fore-sight, plated fluted cylinder, plated solid frame with exposed single action hammer and spur trigger and smooth walnut birdshead grips, strong amount of plated finish remaining with some shallow pitting
